It wasn't being fed. I was getting a cage ready for it to be fed.In retrospect it wasn't a good idea, it's been a while, and it was my first snake. <insert noob smiley here>
Also, my dog had the mouse in its mouth. He hit it on the head to get her to spit it out, which she did. It was actually more of a hard tap. This wasn't a beating. I would have done it if I had been closer. That's how the animal world works. Ever seen Dog Whisperer?
