I have a LTC female who does this everytime I get her out. She flails and tries to bite, so I grab her tail and behind her head with one hand(firmly but gently) and clean the tub with the other hand. She musks and everts, and that is exactly what it looks like. It's stress as well as fear and she is showing her displeasure at being handled.
Right on Becky. I see no hemipeni either.....just a scared snake.

This sounds right on for my snake's behavior! There wasn't anything coming out of her when my husband initially picked her up. I just got her in the mail a few days ago....so she is probably just stressed and scared. We haven't held her really at all...just to put her in her new home. So, I think I'll just leave her alone as suggested!
Thanks everyone!! I feel tons better! I might take her to a local herp guy that I know and see if he will pop her for me just to make sure she is a girl!
Thanks again!
