    It looks really good, I want to spice up my tank like that. I have read, however, that it's a good idea to have 2 identical hides: one on the cool side, one on the warm side. But I guess it could all be preference.

    After the snake is finished with his soak, take out the water dish and look in it. If he has mites, there will undoubtedly be some in the water dish- mites can't swim!! They will look like little black dots. Check it out!

    now that i think about it. they may not have been snake mites or maybe they were from the snake. who knows. i stick to plastic hides. cheap and you dont have to put them in the oven to kill mites or bacteria or whatever.

    im half retarded so dont listen to what i say.

    and i dont have mites. and i dont think this guy does either. sorry for thread jacking. my bad.
