Using a Herpstat II set at 95. Hot side is between 85-90. Cool side between 74-79.

Probe is taped to the flex watt.
Holes are bout 1/4 in holes in side of tub.
This is very frustrating. Any ideas how I could combat my humidity problem?
I have these same racks and so I have a couple of thoughts:
-The water bowls need more water in them than 1/4 inch and make sure the bowls are all the way at the front corner of the tub.
-I don't understand why the t'stat is running at 95 while your hot spots range from 85-90. Do you have a temp gun to measure the temps? Anyway, pull the probe just a bit away from the flex watt and then this ought to fix that problem. Also, get a temp gun and accurately measure your hot side temps. I pretty much only use the Accurite to measure the humidity and ambient temps at this point because I don't find them nearly as accurate as a temp gun for surface temps.
-Lastly, tape up some of the side holes (the ones running the long ways down the tubs) and make a couple of the holes in the front and back end of the tub a bit larger than 1/4". The back end will permit more of the heat to escape and the front end will allow more of the water evaporating from the bowl to escape.
Let me know how this works.
