Just curious with RES being so territorial and aggressive. Most "breeders" advise against it.

So I guess you are not in an area where RES are restriced? They are on the banned list here now, unless you owned them before a certain time. Not allowed to have them in outdoor ponds, as they are considered environmental pest. Breed like rabbits, and elbow out the native population.



I have had musk turtles, Florida cooters, RES, and boxies.
