My new addition from the show!

Here's my pickup from White Plains. This is a male Yellowbelly from Joe Compel reptiles. I don't know why but I was very taken with this snake from when I first had him out.

Joe is a good guy, was very nice and talked to me about his business and snakes. They put up with me coming back 4 times to look at the same snake and finally buying it.

These were taken last night and I was exhausted, and my hands were shaking so it was hard to get good shots. Apologies for the mediocrity here. I don't intend on taking him out for awhile, since he's now in his 7 day housewarming leave-me-alone period. Next week I will take better pics in better lighting and do a belly comparison with my normal female.







He has a spot on his head




By the way, he was the ONLY yellowbelly at the show that actually had a noticeable yellow belly Well, that I saw anyways. You probably can't see this in the pics but he has a nice banded pattern on his back.
