yeah i did take time heating the head up more than the rest of the body, it might have just been the way he grabbed it from the tongs. I gave him a few minutes after finishing down the first one before offering the second, and he took it with no problems
Good to hear! If your bp eats the prey rear first, it shouldn't cause any problems but it is a little more awkward for him/her to swallow. I did notice that with hoppers or mice, the overall stiffness of the legs was not enough to make eating backward difficult, but with rats, my bp would have quite a bit of trouble if he ate them backward.
