    the building blahs?

Is anyone thinking of this as the most Blah time in the BP breeding cycle? I am.
All of my females are exhibiting signs of being bred. But they're all building; no ovulations yet. Not really expecting any in maybe a month or more even. Kinda a "blah" time. I can always look at everyone else's eggies and hatcliees!

    Re: the building blahs?

I am kind of in the same rut... I haven't seen any ovulations but two females have shed and I am really thinking I just missed ovulations on them... their "follicles" are now huge and moving toward the posterior end... I have been counting down like they have had their post ovulation sheds. I'm using my time making new egg boxes that are exactly the size I want for my clutches and my incubator and test running the 'bator to see how they are working. Hang in there!

I think the worst part of breeding is watching them build only to absorb the folloicles and not lay!

That my friends is the ultimate BLAH

Thanks for co-miserating I think that I would cry like a baby if one of mine re-absorbed!
