Oh trust me - there is fun to be had in Birmingham, and you don't even have to leave the hotel! The last time Ed was there, I laughed harder than I have in ages! My stomach hurt by the end of the weekend!

I'm getting off work at 2 tomorrow, we hope to be on the road by 4, and in B'ham by 5 their time (two hours driving, one hour gained by time change).

I also plan to bring a small dufflebag for "smuggling" any Saturday purchases into the hotel! You guys are welcome to smuggle your purchases in there too!

Christie - if you read this - I really hope you're able to make a road trip! Shaun's little girl will be there, so your kids are welcome too of course!

Ed's already picked out one restaurant (a tavern type restaurant) as a possible dinner or lunch option!
