    Transparent hides?

I just got my tub set up all done!
Now I was looking for a good hide setup to complete the job.
I want two identical hides so the snake will not favor one over the other and came across some old disposable Glad containers. They look like the perfect size, so I put them in there. Everything fits great! Dont think a snake would feel as secure in there. But ya never know, anyone out there use stuff like that.

I was thinking of going to the hardware store and getting to small plastic flower pots, I know those would work, I am looking for something small. Any Ideas?

I use those for my mice and they never seem to realize (or care) that you can see right through them. Check out the flower pot holder thingies. The little plastic plates people put under potted plants so they won't leak.

Transparent? No, the purpose of an hide is to provide security.

Depending on the size of your BP here is what you can use

Lol, a transparent hide? haha.. that's kind of an oxy moron isn't it?

If it's transparent, then it can't be a hide.

    Re: Transparent hides?

My snakes hides are see thru. They are colored so it's not easy to see thru them but you can if you work a little. Doesn't seem to bother them a bit. Nina actually seems to prefer them. When I switched over, I left the old hides in for a while to see which ones got used more. Necco used all of them and Nina seemed to prefer the see thru ones. (of course my snakes may be weird)
