    Have you been to SC?

You are starting to sound as if you are going to make my bad list. Yes I have been there, I lived there for 20 years of my life, along with NC 4 years, AZ 4 years, TX 2 years, and somewhere in the desert (Iraq/Saudi Arabia/Turkey) While in the USAF.

Not going to start arguing about how great this place is or that place, all have good points and bad, including Iraq. So I will stop this conversation before it even gets going.

However, I would like to say thanks for all of the help from you all so far. It has made the process seamless.

You could try adding another piece of flexwatt on the cold side. But the ambients need to be up too. I shoot for 92 to 94 and 82 to 84 with an ambient of 82 degrees.

As far as the SC deal. Maybe she meant that its on the opposite end of the country? I've never been to South or North Carolina. I hear there's some good scenery though. I work with a lot of bike riders that have been through there.

I don't think she meant SC would be a bad place to live.

I've lived there too and it is very different from Portland and that's what I was saying. In fact, I was born and grew up (until I was an adult) on the east coast all over it!! Lived for a bit in Fiji and lived for a bit in Brasil too! I agree, all had things I liked and things not so much!

Re: 92F and 78F...As close as I can get (help)

I hope not! LOL. Sorry if I am seeming a little defensive. Since I moved to Portland I have had way too many people just go off on the rednecks of the south and I get slightly offended. I don't make fun of the people here. Also I am going through a divorce and a little on edge lately, sorry. That is the reason for the big move really, I have no family here. Sorry once again if I jumped to conclusions but that is the usual response I get from Oregonians. AZ and TX, not so much, just here really, don't know why that is???

Anyway, thanks again for the help.

All is good and I'm sorry for the difficulties you're facing right now. Attitudes are attitudes and people own them everywhere. As for redneck stuff~ don't know. I live in Bend (not too long ago it was a sleepy little cattle town) and have a ranch in eastern Oregon (major cattle and horse place). So, yeah, you were a little off if you thought that's where I was coming from!!
But, like I said, Portland is very different from SC and you've just exemplified one way- sorry it was a bad way The only time I go to Portland is to take one of my kids to OHSU or on my way to my yearly trip to the beach!!
Anyway, all is good!! I hope for you happier days; family is soooo important

Ooops, I forgot to add~ Portland is not all of Oregon....please don't leave this state thinking we're all a bunch of nimrods!! You maybe haven't been east of the Cascades!!
