I've got no problem with live feeders. But if you must do it, do it right for God's sake!
Keep it real, homies.
I agree with the sentiment of your post, but I guess I'm not as quick to start name calling. This snake owner very well may be uneducated rather than being "an idiot". We don't know this person, so we really aren't qualified to judge. That would be the equivalent of me calling you an idiot for telling this individual to stop feeding during shed. I would rather believe you are simply uneducated until proven otherwise.
Some snakes will eat through shed, some will not. There is absolutely nothing wrong with continuing to offer prey to your snake during a shed cycle, provided you do it responsibly. If you offer f/t, there is absolutely no harm in offering during shed. The most you risk is having to toss a dead rodent into the trash. If offering live, it is perfectly acceptable to offer during shed, one prey item at a time, and if the snake doesn't show interest and eat within 15 minutes, remove the prey item and try again after shed.
I was reading over the comments on this video and see that a few of our members have left him comments, but didn't bother to give him a link to this site in order to educate himself. Maybe I'll go post a comment on his video to educate rather than flame...
