An interesting video i found on youtube

This is the first time i actually saw a BP strike at a mouse, get it, and the mouse actually escaped.. and then the snake missed another 3 strikes.. the guy threw in multiple mice at a time so maybe it was because of that.. heres the link forward it to 3:05 to see the parts i was talking about

This is a case of an irresponsible live feeder. People with brains like this this give those of us who do feed live a bad name, cause after their snake gets seriously injured they post the horrific pictures and say never feed live.

unbelieveable. Newbees, in case you didn't know.... YOU NEVER put multiple rodents in with one snake at a time. when the snake is constricting, and or swallowing, he is pretty much defenceless.

Also, when the snake is obviously not interested, you TAKE THE RAT OUT! You do not take cute little pictures of them "sleeping together"

    This guy is an idiot.

long time reader, first time post...

Please correct me if i'm wrong, but there looks to be a lot of other things going on with that snake. Like a bad shed for one. And the tank doesn't look like its clean or kept up with. That might be a good reason why the snake was missing. I couldn't finish the video cause i started feeling bad for the snake.

those eyecaps need some care badly. No wonder he misses. The owner is obviously enamoured with his snake but is probably completely ignorant.

i think i will go with just that part. i think that as much as all of us love our animals and give them the best of the best there are a lot of people out there like this guy/gal. this person probably thinks that there is nothing wrong with what they are doing. they bought there animal from a pet store. never talked to anyone about care, and that animal probably will not live all the way through its long life because of that. feel thankful that we have all found this place and even when we all do not share the same opinions on things that we have a place like this to share ideas. this person would really benefit from just spending a couple of days looking around here. remember that every time some one new comes and you help them. they could be just like this person. you help ball python owners be that much better. okay now this is sounding like a church sermon.

sermon or not, you have a good point. i'd be willing to bet if i wasn't active on auto forums and already knew they are the best place for a LOT of info, its possible that i would have been that type of owner. so many people just don't realize that they don't know, and go on with their lives thinking their pet is perfectly fine.

Thumbs down Re: An interesting video i found on youtube

This guy's an idiot. I feed f/t. However, if I fed live I wouldn't present multiple live items simultaneously, I wouldn't feed before or during a shed (not even f/t), and I wouldn't let this punk have a snake. lol

I've got no problem with live feeders. But if you must do it, do it right for God's sake!

    Keep it real, homies.

I'm so posting a comment on youtube for him........ I sincerely hope it is idiocy and not the alternative, outright neglect.

    Cheers,
