    New haircolor..red.. verrry red..

Wow! This is the reddest that I have gone. I did this because, I have found that lately, I am feeling old. I wanted to freshen my life up a little amd make myself feel young again (I am only 27 but still..) I have gotten compliments about it but also people have sneered and called me names because of it (I have great hearing, a fact that people at my job seem to not know.. they think that cubicle walls are sound barriers..) Eff them! Here goes.. whadda ya think? Thanks to my best friend Jill for dyeing it for me!

That's a gorgeous color red and with your pale skin tone would probably look awesomely gothic with red lipstick. It looks like you have a shade of red lipstick on in the picture, actually.

It's going to be a pain to keep though. A friend of mine had her hair that color all through senior year of high school. Everyone started calling her stuff like "Skittles" and whatnot. Since then she has lightened it out a bit and it's practically orange now. Needless to say, she gets a lot of attention for it.

I need to do my hair again. It's so boring now...

I think its georgeous!!! And dont worry about what other people think!!!! Matter of fact welcome to the red head world of having a good excuse for being mean... Im red headed natually and we can be mean and just say "Its a red headed thing" So next time the cubicle walls are folding in with comments just stand up and tell them to go do something with their own nappy hair and not to worry about yours

    Re: New haircolor..red.. verrry red..

Thanks My old color was not actually my natural color. My roots will grow in as a pretty drab gray-brown. My hair before, was actually dyed a few shades browner, than this red. So it basically faded-out to a fox-red color. I am expecting this to fade into a similar color.. actually hoping for it, because while I do like this red, it is not something that I will do again, this drastically! But for the short time that it lasts, until it fades, it is fun.

Jen~ I love it!!! I think it looks awesome and I've never seen your face close before-- you are gorgeous!!!! Old? What are you? Nuts?
You are beautiful and your hair color is very cool and looks terrific with your eyes and lips and skin tone!
My 25 year old son was always doing things with his hair- he thought he was rebelling!!! Anyway, now that he has dreads down to the middle of his back, he really can't do much anything else with it!!
I love adventurous people who don't need to follow convention but instead follow the sound of their own drummer. Your drummer drummed red this time and I am so proud of you for listening! You rock girl!!! Keep listening to your drummer- you're doing very well!
