    Update

Ok so last time i was on, i was having humidity issues in my tank. Since then, i have covered about 80% of the lid with tin foil, got a much wider water dish, and this seemed to have work. But just to be sure, i went out and got a digital hygrometer. Flukers brand 2-1 therm/hygrometer.

So my question, however noob it may sound, is where do i place it in the enclosure? top? bottom? does it even matter?

    Thanks

    Re: Update

You should put the sensor (wherever it is) where the snake hides most of the time.

So I would say inside the cool side hide. If it has no sensor, put it as close as you can to the cool side hide.

You want to measure humidity as close to where the snake spends most of it's time.

Is this a stick on? I'm going to assume it is not. If there is a sensor, place the sensor on the hot spot of the tank, on the glass, under the substrate. Humidity is measured in the ambient air so it doesn't really matter where on the lower level of the tank you get this measurement. Hope this clears things up a little for you!
