I used to use 32 qt tubs for the adults, but thought they were too small, so I built all new racks that had 41 qt tubs. No I think its overkill, so I'm going back to the 32 qt tubs. As you said, they ate and bred just fine in the 32 qt, and those will take up a lot less space than the 41 qt tubs, so I'm going back to 32 qt
