I recently chucked the glass tanks in favor of the 41q sterilite tubs. A couple of the animals where in the sterilite 1756's (the 32q) and I moved them up. These are adult males and they look dwarfed by the size of them 41q tubs. The females look even smaller. Right now the tubs are stacked on top of each other and the plan is to buid a small rack for them so it will be easier to get to them. But before I do, the thought that these 41q tubs may be a bit overkill as crossed my mind.
I figure the 32 quart 1756's would be better. I mean, they eat fine and everything, its just them tubs are rather large, I wonder if its just wasted space since I usualy keep the tubs with news paper, a hide (half log or plastic hide or something like that) and water and nothing else, well maybe a rock or something.
I don't have too many corn projects going on right now, I have a female that likes to drop eggs yearly even if she don't breed and that usualy means they are no good and it kinda sucks for her to do all that work for nothing. And there is another pair I may breed to see what I could get out of it.
Anyway...
Personaly them 41qt tubs are ugly. I don't like them, at least for the corn snakes. I suspect they will be fine in the 32qt tubs, unless they get really large. I think it will be easier to get material to build a rack for 32qt tubs (will be the iris tubs since them 1756's are hard to get).
Whats your take? Them 41qt sterilite tubs or the iris or sterilite 32qt tubs (if I can find them)?
