    Ladies...Those pic's are AWESOME!!!!!

Djansen, the black & gold Toad is a "Panamanian Golden Toad" (Atelopus zeteki) It was once endemic to Panama, but now, sadly, it seems that it may have become extinct in the wild in 2006 due to a fungal disease that spread throughout the seperate habitat's! They made a rush expedition to try to gather all of the survivors & are trying to establish breeding colonies which at a later date (fingers crossed) could maybe be re-introduced into the wild.

Gotta love the Fly River/Pig Nosed Turtles though aint ya......I'm soooooo gutted I lost mine a few years back!!!

AW, awesome pics. Now I wanna go to the zoo, lol.

Were the king cobras out when you went? Last time I was there they were still setting up the enclosure.

And what is the deal with the bald eagle they have? I always see him perched on that same perch with his wing hanging...is it disabled or something? I've always wondered.

If I remember correctly then I think its against Federal Law to have a non disabled Bald Eagle and even then the cage to contain the bird must be open air so it can leave if it wishes. Don't quote me on this I just think I remember it from a tour guide at the Zoo in Wichita.
