    hatchling rack question

so im thinking of building a hatchling rack and I was wondering if it would be ok to use a tub thats 14 inches long 8.5 wide but only 2.5 inches tall? I know it seems short but isn't floorspace more important? let me know if you think it would be ok to use. if not ill just go with 6 qt sterilite thanks

    Re: hatchling rack question

The Vision hatchling tubs are only about 3 1/2 inches in heght, so not much different...

I think the main concern would be if they can easily constrict a prey item in the box...Depending on what you use for bedding you may lose more height....
