    Re: Breeding question.

Albino to pastel will result in all the off spring being het albino, including the normals and pastels.

    Re: Breeding question.

I am not sure if you are asking for advice as to what to get next after the albino pair or if you are asking how to breed what you have. Either way the answer is the same-it is up to you. Get what you like the most, or, if you are going to put the time and money into researching and breedings, breed for what you like. A pastel bred to an albino will produce half normals and half pastels, all of which will be 100% het for albino, but none of which will show the albino trait, since it is recessive.

    Re: Breeding question.

Yes if you breed the albino pair you will have albino offspring, pastel toalbino wont show albino, but all the babies will be 100% het for albino. A pastel albino isnt much different from an albino, I wouldnt bother with that one, now pastel clown on the other hand... thats just a smokin animal.

What happens when you breed pastel to clown or clown to albino?

    Re: Breeding question.

Pastel x Clown = Normals and Pastels / all are het for Clown

Clown x Albino = All look Normal / All are 100% Het for Albino + Clown (double hets)

    Re: Breeding question.

You can buy one. But messing with hets are alot cheaper in most cases. Than buying an albino or clown. Het clown males are about 100.00 I think. Clown males up to 5k so. Hets do take longer to get the snake you want but cheaper. Up to you what you want to make and how much you are willing to spend. You might want to check out a good site about ball python genetics. Heres one pretty good tells you the basics of what you need to know. http://ballpython.ca/genetics.html
