I would much rather wake up to the snow then the rain that we have been having here. We have now received 13 inches of rain since Saturday and still calling for rain all the way until Monday night....Give me the snow and you all can have this rain. Oh, it did snow some huge flakes on Easter but then changed back to rain....

Well, using the standard 10:1 ratio (which is only an average... it varies widely), 13 inches of rain would equal 130 inches of snow. That's over 10 feet of snow!
You still sure you'd rather have the snow? 
It is awesome when a lot of rain falls in a short period. Huge amounts of snow are impressive too, but they don't have quite the same awe-inspiring effect on me. Maybe it is because the snow mostly stays put after it falls but with water it is rushing around everywhere.

I AGREE! It was gorgeous yesterday here, like 50, and today it snowed/rained and went down to the 30's... 
I remember a few years ago we had a huge blizzard on April Fool's Day. New England weather makes no sense
