Ok since I know nothing of you husbandry I can't comment on that but I will try and answer you question. If the scales look stripped after a shed then it should clear up with the next shed. Just make sure that the humidity is up when they go into blue and you shouldn't have a problem. Now if they are striped off due to an injury or medical condition they might not ever grow back. So since I don't know the circumstances surrounding the damage to the scales that is the best information I can offer.
