Back to the bunnies: I think someone should invent a business called 'Rent-A-Bunny' that rents/lends out bunnies, ducks, and other such holiday critters to those insensitive idiots who only want one for a day or two. That way, the manager would make big bucks and the animals would be spared!

There actually are many breeders that do this very thing.

Just think of how many people could be fed by all of these dumped rabbits too, instead of putting them in rescues who are already full...
