Could also be mucus from an RI...why didn't the snake have any water?

from the sound of it, the snake drank it.. either that or perhaps sometimes my animals will get in the water bowl and cause it to over flow helping the water level go down considerably.. then for them to drink some and have some evaporation, i can see how it would happen, anything is possible.

Could be thats what happened on top of the animal being dehydrated and drank the rest of it.. as for throwing the water back up, unless the snake had water in its mouth when you lifted it i think its unlikely. i would check for severe RI, that would cause mucousy mouth... hope its alright

This is your craigslist Boa? I think now you know why you should buy from a reputable seller.

Also, you dont have any of the appropriate equipment before you bought the snake???? Excuse me for chastising you, but this is exactly what I and many others were telling you to take care of first, prioritize.

Call a vet asap and get him checked out, not even debatable at this point. You took him on, take care of him no matter the cost.

    Re: Slobbered all over me

ok lets get this straight he told me he had a heat lamp and good temps but when i got there the temps were bad and he was using a light bulb to day i went out and spent almost $200 getting a heat lamp and UTH and a rheostat. i didnt buy the equipment beforehand because he was selling tank and boa. but yes today im going to find a vet and have her checked out.
