    Going to the vet today

I finally found a reptile vet in the area. I was contemplating going to Auburn but now I don't have to. It's still a little out of the way but not as far as Auburn.

Anyways, I hope there's nothing wrong and it's just a normal fast.

Re: Going to the vet today

Well, she's got a clean bill of health. No problems at all.

So, as frustrating as it is, I'll just keep on offering till she eats.

In other news, I stopped by a pet store in that part of town on the way back t osee if they had a thermostat as I have yet to find one. Well, while I was there, I saw a huge snake that had the pattern of a ball python. I asked what kind of snake it was. It was a ball python. I was jaw dropped. I have never seen a BP that big. I know it's longer than 5'2" because the lady working there to it out to show and it was longer than she was tall. According to her, it's a male het pastel. It was sold to them a couple months ago by a guy that couldn't take care of it anymore. Very friendly snake. She said it ate large rats. And I believe it. I am still in shock. I was tempted to get it but they were asking $250.

    Amazing....

At what point do you need to take a snake to the vet for not eating?

Pastel is a co-dom trait, so the snake can't be "het for pastel". If it didn't look like a pastel ball python then it isn't.

I'd love to see a picture of it though!

I may have misheard what they said is was het for. Anyway, I do plan on going back to have a picture taken.
