Why isn't Kaa eating?
My snake Kaa has had weird eating habits but here tanks temps, humidity and overall care has been perfect (according to general BP requirements)
She went through a shed cycle 2 weeks ago (A ONE PIECE SHED)!
An hour or so after her shed she ate which pleased me because the last time she ate before the shed was 3 weeks ago. Kaa is a regular 2 year old ball Python that is 2'.5" feet long. How often should I feed her because she isn't taking food weekly. When should I try again?
I think she ate right after her shed cycle because I didn't attempt to feed her when I noticed she was going to shed for 2 weeks and didn't bother her that whole time. How often should I feed her? Thanks!

I am trying to feed her a white mouse, a little smaller than the biggest part of her body. This is smaller than before, she has ate bigger mice but I downsized because of recent troubles.

Keep trying you may even try P/K'ed and leave it over night for her.

Should I freeze the mouse and then thaw it?

No most people gas them in a made C02 chamber but if your not squeamish you can put it in a cloth sack and give it a whack. Most people prefer the Gas method but for just the odd mouse it much quicker and cheaper.

Okay, I don't have a CO2 chamber and I can't seem to find where they are sold pre-killed. I guess it will be going in an old sock. As far as pre-scenting the room, should I pre-scent it while the mouse is alive so Kaa can see it and hear it or should i pre-scent after I kill the mouse?
