No lock up on first try, how long until I try again?

I put my pastel male with a female and I didn't observe any locks (had them together 3 days). I separated them last week and fed them over the weekend. How long should I wait until I try to pair them up again?

Give them a couple days to absorb thier meals and go at it again.Now remember just because you dont see them "playing" does not mean they are not "playing" while your asleep
