do female rats smell when they are in heat?

Well, i gotta say, my rats smell sweetly musky, sometimes they smell barbequish. amnd sometimes like grape soda.

I find that my boys smell musky a lot of the time.

Lol, well I guess you could be right, its a smell I have not encountered before in my rat keeping so I just thought I would ask. Thanks!
