Re: Mice: Day one to Thirty
Day 15: They are now exploring the tank and hard as heck to catch. They are not weaned yet, and still spend most of their time in their nest.

Re: Mice: Day one to Thirty
Do you know hard hard it is to stop without any pills or patches or gums?!?!
I think I'm going to stop this post right here, pretty much all that is going to happen over the next 15 days is they will slowly get a little bigger, nothing fancy, and i think people are mainly interested in the pinky- weaner stage anyways

Re: Mice: Day one to Thirty
Well thank you very much for this post. It is a great resource for folks considering breeding. You have to finish this thread of course with one of the little buggers getting eaten!!!!

Re: Mice: Day one to Thirty
I'm actually curious about how long it takes for them to become "feeder-sized" for an adult BP Auryn's decided that live are all he wants...and PetCo's mice are pretty puny. I've been buying them 3 weeks in advance (keeping 6 at a time), and feeding them up to a bigger size. I'm thinking this summer I might start breeding...but depending on how long it takes for them to grow, it might not be a great idea (I only have one BP!). It's pretty awesome how they just sprouted hair over night!
