I agree. My little girl was mean when I first got her, but if I'd been thrown in a sack and shipped in a bumpy truck for a few hundred miles I'd be a bit irritated, too. She's sweet now and likes to curl up in my hoodie pocket and watch me play videogames.

As for the eggs, if some giant hand came out of the sky and tried to take my (nonexistent) child from me, I'd be IRATE.

Also, if the numbers are skewed towards females being meaner (I don't think they are) it may be because often times people have more females than males for breeding purposes. More snakes = more different personalities and more chance of some being mean, especially when eggs are involved. So if I had 5 males and 1 was mean and 25 females and 5 were mean, it would seem like females are meaner but it's really the same amount.
