I lost my snake for a couple of days under the substrate. I only found where he was because I could see tunnels in it.
So out of curiosity, what is the temp on top of your warm side substrate? Also what do you use and what is the thickness?

I have switched to Kraft paper with a dusting of aspen shavings on top to help retain some humidity. This is the only way I could think of to know the exact temp that he is on without burrowing.
