To hide or not to hide?

Just a quick question. When you put to snakes together for breeding do you leave the hides in or do you take them out or do you add more? I'd hate to leave something in that gets in the way of a wild night of thrashing when the time comes!

A wise man once told me to take the hides out when pairing up. It actually disturbs them less, rather then taking the hide out each time you check on them for locks, pics, etc....

I agree, I used to leave them in but it just gets in the way, I have had them wedged under the hide and couldnt open the rack once LOL

My big girl, Osiris, does the wedge under the hide so you can't open the rack on her own without the help of another snake!

No hides it is then! Thanks for the quick answers!

I don't have hides for any of my ball pythons, so the answer would be no.

Nope, but that works for me. The animals all eat, breed and seem to not be as shy.
