He does have a decent sized water bowl, but when he's in shed he just hides all day and doesn't go anywhere near it. But I definitely should have soaked him instead of just putting a wet cloth on it; would have been gentler.
Thank you both for your advice. I'll be keeping an eye on it. I cleaned out his whole tub yesterday so I doubt there'll be any chance for infection.
It would not hurt to spray his enclosure a bit either.Your welcome
