Re: getting my first tub today
I use those clips in the medium size on my tubs that aren't in the racks. I used to use bungie cords but they are a pain in the butt I have had no escapes except for a 5' female that I think is stronger than me, She wedges her body against the top and pushes all night long

Re: getting my first tub today
Final question remains: Where is the best place to put the tub? I'm gonna have a UTH heating it but that shouldn't burn anything right? Anything being stuff underneath it along with the tub itself.

Re: getting my first tub today
put polystyrene under the tub, good insulation keeps the heat in. Also put aluminium tape on the poly for ultimate insulation, works for me.

You mean just the bottom, and around the UTH? I just aluminum taped the UTH onto the tub. Poor Buddy is gonna have to spend another night in the other tank

Re: getting my first tub today
Yep, that's fine. I have my separate tubs just sitting on the carpet on top of the flexwatt. Works well

I am working on getting my snake into a tub and I've got my temps perfect - but my humidity is 85%! I know that's too high for her but I can't figure out how to lower it. I made lots of holes but I'm scared if I make too many more too much heat will get out. I'm using cypress as substrate. I know a lot of people use newspaper but I have a ton of the stuff and I don't want it to go to waste...
I do have bungee cords though : D
