Wow, I'm sorry, I try not to correct people too much, but that was just horrible. If you tried to read that sentence out loud, you'd pass out!

this is dumb. if you want a snake that looks like a blood get a blood. if you want a snake with the personality of a ball get a ball. if you one that looks like a blood and acts like a ball. get both... quit playin god.

    Re: superballs ?

I see nothing wrong with trying something new when it comes to hybrids. The problem with CARPETS is that when you combine two closely related snake species (integrades, not hybrids) it becomes very very hard to tell if the snake is pure. If someone makes a diamond/jungle cross and sells it as such, what's to say that the next person doesn't breed it with a jungle. Now you have snakes that look like jungles, but aren't pure jungle carpet pythons.

Breeding two totally different species together does NOT constitute the same problem as we are seeing in the Morelia species. It will be very hard to pass off a borneo/ball hybrid as a pure ball or a pure borneo. The same goes for any of the carpet/ball hybrids. I find the carpalls and carbombs to be really interesting hybrids and see myself making some if my carpets and balls cooperate.

    Re: superballs ?

After reading through what some of the purist's say you'd think that hybrids were genetic anomalies that would certainly not be worth even trying but this simply is not true. Let's get some facts out of the way first. When you breed a horse and a donkey you get a mule... Mules are exactly that, mules they are infertile. But we are talking snakes here and so far the Super Ball males and soon the females seem to be just fine and healthy and fertile in fact of all the hybrids they have the highest fecundity rate so far. The Ball python seems to be relative to the entire gene pool of pythonidae so far. These are snakes there is no god to them, they worship no one and nothing all they care about is food, water, warm temps, and sex IE. propagating themselves around their environment. If a ball python some how made it to Borneo eventually it would breed to a blood python. Hybrids are not sins, if humans didn't hybridize animals or plants then we would not have pretty..ext.. chickens, dogs, goldfish, rats, cats and birds to name just a small selection of pets and food products we keep in captivity.
There is nothing wrong with this person for wanting to hybridize a snake after all in a 100years from now it won't make a difference to the wild population nor the snakes you keep as pets in your own homes. I saw people jump all over this guy for asking a simple question that should of gotten a very simple answer but instead you all decided to jump down his back and verbally assasinate him for what ??
If you're a purist be one and stick to just ball or blood pythons but if your into hybrids then do it, not all hybrids make good results but some like the suprball totally rock and will be mixed with ball python morphs and blood morphs... It's an exciting time for bloods and balls and for their hybrid counterparts.

Call Rousis Reptiles he did it and did a good job with it but the way he did it was a bit of a secret.

I know of one person this year that did it and he used a Male 4ft BP which locked with a small Red Blood 5-6ft and he has eggs in the inc...

Take a break from the keyboard bro, no one was attacking him or "verbally abusing" him like you say. We were stating our opinions, if that is abusive to you, how do you even leave your house?

    Re: superballs ?

You need to work on your vocabulary there kid, verbal abuse is not what verbal assassination means, verbal assassination is when you shoot someone down or tear them up which you and some others did do.. Verbal abuse would of been directly calling him some stupid ass names or something for not thing like the rest of the lemmings.. Go play with your turtle and your bong

PS 20 posts is nothing sport.. so no break is needed... I think maybe you need to quit the red bulls... or the pot whatever one makes you think your so cool on the net...
