Just remember that Boas have to be kept separate from Pythons just in case, and at least have to be in QT for a while. I only QT my corn snakes for a month as opposed to the 3-6 months for boids.
Darn, where's a fainting smilie when I need one LOL!? I understand he's entitled to his own opinion, but what does your BF have against Rosies? They're the smoothest snakes around and have color combinations exclusive only to them. I can't find a reason to dislike them.

I've noticed that with mine, also. She seems to slow down after wrapping her tail around something. More content maybe? Still impossible to get pictures of, though!

Eh, he thinks they look like giant earthworms. Same with Kenyan Sand Boas.

Back to corns, tho, I agree that they are much more active when being held, but tend to calm down a bit if they have their tail around something. My big ghost male is as docile as a lamb once you have him out of the cage, and he just cruises. In contrast, my 7month old Anery female is always on the move and hard to keep hold of.

I'll second Jo's opinion.. my albino nelson is very docile, and he's one of the prettiest snakes I own

Oh, and if these look like earthworms, then.. well I guess you've got some pretty exotic worms.

Oh woh... those are WOW snakes.

And he informs me that it's mostly due to the tiny head and eyes giving them little to no definition past the neck. And BTW, he thinks those two are pretty earthworms.

Well ok, I guess I can deal with 'pretty' earthworms. lol

I think my little no-necks are just adorable.. and they have the cutest bug eyes too.

I mean c'mon.. who can resist that face?
