Ack! My computer died!
And before there's any sarcastic remarks, yes I'm using the computer at my work. Well, I'm really deciding between wants and needs. And as of right now, I don't really "need" a computer. It's almost summer time, I've been more active and have been thinking actually about ditching the computer. But I guess fate decided for me. Anyways, it's time to get my fishing and bike riding on now! Woohoo!!!

Whole computers don't typically die. It could be a matter of one or two components that failed...replacing those will bring your computer back to life.
Of course, if your hard drive is gone, then so is everything that was on it.

Well, I was on YouTube watching the video "Metal By Numbers" which is pretty damn funny. Anyways, it froze and my computer said over and over again "CPU failed!" Either way, I just think this has happened for a reason. I kinda couldn't make up my mind what to do.

you might not have enough memory or your graphics card may not have enough memory. either one of those things would make your computer crash when watching video.

If it is a CPU, might as well just buy a new one eventually. CPU's are not generally user friendly to replace and they are not cheap. Anywhere from 100-300 or so dollars realistically and the labor would be another 100 or so.

Really? Odd cause I run WoW on full blast graphics and NEVER had a problem in the last 2-3 years. Plus, the computer won't even start up. It just keeps saying "CPU failed!"

I appreciate that. I really didn't have anything on there. I just used it for Warcraft and web browsing. I transfered all my pics and tunes to my iPod and I made back up CD's to all my tunes just in case. Ive had this computer for a long time. I got my moneys worth out of it. So I'm not too bummed.

does it beep, then not boot up? if you are not even getting to a splash screen, like a windows boot up screen, it could be your hard drive which are cheap to replace. if you are booting it up and get a beeping sound before it crashes it could be your memory or your mother board.

Sounds like your processor is the one to blame, but take that with a grain of salt,as this is an internet diagnosis.
