Haha, just because my way works for me or a few others, doesn't make it the only right way to do things.

I have never been to a show (living in Oregon) so I have not ever shopped at a show. So, my question: Does shopping at shows leave the buyer with a stressed out snake that has also been exposed to all kinds of germs and illnesses? Just wondering.....

From a respectable breeder, germs and illnesses wouldn't be an issue, but the stress from being at the show, being passed around, gawked at, may cause stress.

Re: Boa question???
shows are a good way to pick up mites and stuff if you're not careful. But that's what hand sanitizer is for.

Just be smart.
Keep your eyes open, look at the snake carefully. How many other snakes are on the table? Do you recognize the name?
Like I said, If they are a respectable business person, you most likely will not find little critters and buggies.

Re: Boa question???
Wes, Thanks bro!
Like said look at the animal before purchase.
I personally use Provent a Mite on all displays and cloth I put down on my table. I can not even have Tarantulas on my table unless I bring a clean table cloth and use it on a seperate table lol. I also use Black Knight II now.
If you want eddyhead, you can come and see me at the show. I can introduce you to 95% of the vendors there. Even if I do not have something you like I am sure I can help you choose a healthy animal at the show. That is not a problem at all. Just remember if you do not see something you like there is no reason to buy. The show is monthly and baby season is right around the corner lol.
Thanks again Wes!!!
