6 Bin Rack, How Would you Set Up?

I currently buy rats every 6 days for my collection. I was thinking about getting a 6 tub rat breeder rack for sale locally and I was looking for advice to set it up. I have read the "stickys" on here about everything but if you had 6 tubs how would you set it up. How many rats, and what goes in each tub. I currently feed 5 rat pups, 3 weaned, and 2 smalls a week. I realize I may not be able to produce everything I need for my snakes every week but figured I would start small and grow from there.

Depending on the size of the tubs, I would go 1.2-3 per tub, with one/two tubs empty for holdbacks and grow ups.

I keep 2 females per tubs and have 2 males rotating through 3 tubs each.

    What about this:

    Tub 1 = 1.3 breeding
    Tub 2 = 0.3 resting
    Tub 3 = 0.3 resting

Every 2 weeks I can move the male to another tub.

    Or I could do

    Tub 1 = 1.3 breeding
    Tub 2 = 1.3 breeding
    Tub 3 = 0.3
    Tub 4 = 0.3

After 2 weeks move male from tub 1 to tub 3 and move male in tub 2 to tub 4.

Do males need rest as well or can I keep cycling them through females?

    Sounds like a plan.

Males do what they need pretty quickly, so rest for them is not that important...

It's actually very funny watching them do it.
