Retics can be quite a handful and I should know, I have been breeding Retics for 17 years. If your are truly interested in retics you need to pick a particular one out. If your interested in Dwarfs then stick with just dwarfs and do some internet searching to find out who has them and what they have available. Dwarfs are hot right now and will stay hot for a while but there is a lot of marketing BS that goes along with them. You need to sift through it and pick out the right kind of retic for you.
Super Tigers, Tigers and Tiger sibs are good starts but they all get big, dwarf versions of these are not guaranteed to stay small but should not grow to be 20ft giants.
Bali's are for expert keepers stay clear
Sulawesi's are giants stay clear
Super Dwarfs seem to come in small but f2 generations grow past their six foot parents quickly. But these can be a good starter retic because their attitudes stay pretty sharp and they seem to be more gentle then other types of dwarfs.
Baby retics are chainsaws they will nab you when least expected so get use to band-aids because your going to need to spend time with it to get it acclimated to you and it's surroundings.
Good luck and I hope you find what your looking for...
PS I am out of babies so please don't ask at this time...
