Well, the incubator is an Avey... I had my hub cut out some shelves. The nest boxes that come with the unit are awesome, except that they are not very tall. I think they would work great on separated eggs, but not a tall stack. I have several ready if I have any smaller clutches...I don't have the "balls"Ummm, yes.....both.....to try and separate the eggs... and I lost some last year when they didn't fit and I used vermiculite that got too dry.
Still heart broken.
So THIS YEAR... Taller nest boxes, and substrate-less incubation!
I'm still a nervous wreck...
