The Derma is an 05 male - Justin claimed to have the mother and several siblings, he also said the Derma had been breeding and had eggs produced/offspring. We have heard nothing past that point. I would think if it were genetic - he'd have proven it out by now even if it were recessive.

I do not even think they should try to prove it out. No heat pits? No protective scales that also do other things? It just sounds like humans being greedy to me, and not thinking of the snake I'm not saying that you all agree with it, but i would not support it.

it's kinda cool, but at the same time kinda sad. I mean every living thing is made a specific way for a reason. I just see it as a genetic flaw, kinda like people who are born blind, or who are born with dwarfism (if thats a word?). At the same time though if it was born into a house with someone who could take proper care of it, i'm sure it would do fine.

You might "think", but I would say you "think" wrong. I believe the siblings never existed, so the females produced from the Derma should only be old enough for this year.

I actually am 99.9% sure that this is true.
