    Hey, question..

Whats the best way to measure a large snake? Or how do you guys measure them? My RTBs and boas move a lot, so its hard to get a good measurement on them.. and I don't know how accurate measuring their sheds can be.

    Let me know!

    Re: Hey, question..

Measuring the sheds is not an accurate way because the sheds a always a lot bigger than the snake. your best bet is to get a friend and have him help you hold the snake and use string to measure him. hope this helps.

    Re: Hey, question..

I noticed that the sheds are much larger than the snakes.. I have one RTB that just shed and had a 10' shed! And shes probably more close to being about 8' long I'll try the string idea out soon, thanks!

    Re: Hey, question..

haha i have seen people use string and a lil bit of painters tape when its just them...
tape holds the string so you get a more acurate measure =]
