After causing lots of drama the man who owns the original seems to have dropped off the face of the earth.
He was most likely being bombarded with phone messages and email 24/7.
There was a harp maker in BC Canada a few years ago who was very well known for his excellent hand-crafted Celtic harps. After he died his family was so bombarded with phone messages from people asking if they were selling his few remaining instruments that they had to change their phone number.
I just wonder if this snake, lacking scales, would also lack the scales that protect its eyes. Hmm...

The scaleless Texas rat snake (BHB) is a recessive morph so I see the same with the derma ball.
That's like the hairless cat. I've heard that hairless cats are a lot more work to care for. They don't have protection from the elements and such. You have to bath them and give them eye drops and stuff like that.
I would think a scaleless snake could have some potential health problems. Without the protection of the scales the substrate would have to be something that wouldn't hurt him, would his eyes be protected if the scales were gone, etc......
