i think the best way to hold them together would be to punch some holes (maybe 2) in each can where you are joining them, then put a dowel through the holes and glue it together.

I really wanna know as well ... But you haven't told us! So I will guess.. .you must either want build some kind of tank decor from cans ... and obviously just please don't leave any edges exposed... Or it would also be awesome if you glued a ton of cans together to make a beer can Viv, or lined the background with cans... That would look cool. The suspense is killing me!!!

I guess I shall make a prediction and say its going to be some type of enclosure made mostly out of beer cans. Is the great stuff for filling in all of the small holes between the cans?? maybe the caps are for edging/decoration? Im really curious
