Finally!
Last night I took the advice of some members here and covered my screen top with three layers of aluminum foil. I sealed the edges with duct tape, and left a hole for ventilation/lighting. I also added a larger water bowl in addition to the small one that was already in there. I gave it a quick mist, and then let it sit over night to see what kind of conditions the new screen cover would create. The results were night time temps of 85 and 78, and the humidity was at 53% and 57%. Finally my temp and humidity are correct AT THE SAME TIME. I now need to see what the daytime temps are when I get home, but so far it is looking good.
I highly recommend the aluminum foil to all the people who post about humidity problems. It is very cheap, and seems to be quite effective.
Here is a pic to show you:

Re: Finally!
Hi,
Glad thats working for you - and I may have a tip to keep the temps more stable between day and night.
You can insulate the back and both sides of the tank with cork board or some other good insulating material - a nice aquarium backing picture can make it look better from the front as well.
It also has the advantage of making the tank seem more secure to the snake if that is a problem at the moment.

Re: Finally!
I plan on putting the insulation on the back and sides of the tank, but I haven't had the time to get out to the store yet. After work I checked the gauges again and the temp and humidity looked great.

Hey hey hey!
Get a herpstat, $50 less than the helix and works great.
