Now, I am aware of Mammals being neutered, but I have yet to hear anything about Reptiles. It got me curious, and wanted to see if anyone else has any ideas or experiences in it? (I know I don't....and I don't think it very necessary, but...Curiosity for curiosity's sake)
O my god .I would reply yes and its been spayed also

    Agreed!

I'm sure it can be done, without a doubt. But do you know anyone who has ON PURPOSE? (I'm sure accidents, etc..which wouldn't count)
Well, people lop off prolapsed hemipenes all the time if they've become damaged, and I also knew of some people who neutered an iquana to see if it made the male more tractable (I don't think it worked though) and I've heard that certain injuries to the tail can effectively neuter a male snake because it can damage the muscle needed to evert the hemipenes. But neutering a snake on purpose just for the sake of rendering it sterile not something I've ever heard of. Maybe you should write them back and let them know that not only is it neutered but it's been declawed as well. See what they come back with.

Re: I know this is wierd, but... Can you neuter your snake?

The only reason why I can imagine someone would ask if it's been "fixed" is so that it can live with other ball pythons...which is bad anyway.

"Sure it's fixed...I keep it in it's own enclosure."
0.1 ball python (Cleo), 0.1 surinam bcc (Carmen)
1.0 sunglow motley corn (Jenson), 1.0 albino burmese (Lourdes)
1.0 cat (Nicky), some mooses and ratters, 1.0 hubby (Rick)

hahaha! De-tooth. "Yeah, we neuter and de-tooth all of our snakes for safety reasons".

If you don't neuter your snake they'll try to spary and shoot urates out the top if you're not careful. Urates to the eye are painful.
