    question about boaphile racks

I'd like to buy one of jeffs ball room racks and in the future, I will buy a second/theird one which brings me to the following questions..

I was wondering if anyone knows the total wattage for one of jeffs ball room racks?

And is it possible to hook more than one rack ball room rack up to 1 herpstat? (as long as they are under 500 watts total) or does each rack require their own thermostat?

I've emailed and called him a couple times w/o any luck of reaching him, I'm too antsy to wait for a reasons LOL so can anyone help me?

    thanks!!

you need some sought of heat probe on the second rack. I would ask boaphile to be sure

if they are both under 500 watts, and they are both right next to each other, then technically you should be able to use one.

    Re: question about boaphile racks

I have the four tub RhinoRaxx ball room rack and if my memory serves me correct I think he said each strip of 4" flex was about 40-60 watts.
I know I could hook two of those racks to one of my Helix t-stats.
    Hope this helps.
Give Jeff a call usually he will call back within 24 hrs during the week. He is not to good at answering email. I always called when I had a question and he always call back.

    Hey Jotay and Subzero,

thanks for your replies. you both pretty much confirmed what I was hoping for as long as they are both the same racks and under 500 watts I can use just one herpstat. but I will call Jeff tomorrow and hopefully get a hold of him to just be 100% sure

thanks and enjoy the rest of ur weekend!

    ~Maizie
