Are there any other crazy CSI fans out there?
Lately, I just can't seem to get enough of this show! And I'm talking about the original one... I like the Miami and NY well enough, but there's something about the original that just grips me. Right now, I'm going through the boxed sets... I'm on season six and dreading coming to the end in the middle of season eight, lol.
Just curious if I'm the only person on here that's a complete CSI fanatic (or that thinks Gil Grissom is attractive in that geeky, freakishly intellegent, sorta way? )

I think the show's allure lies in the fact that, even when there are emotional conflicts between the characters---which isn't often---they are subtle and always on the sidelines... they aren't the main focus. The main focus of the show lies directly on each case, and the scientific processes used to solve them.
And yeah, I know that the processes take a lot longer in real life and all that... but I just love it!

I love CSI. The original mainly, becuase it has Greg, Nick AND Grissom.
In fact, when I go to Vegas, I'm taking the CSI tour they have there, showing a bunch of places you see in the show. I think it will be awesome.
Miami is okay, but it just got too... politically angsty. Like when XFiles became all about the conspiracy and shadowy figures controlling the government. I prefer to see the crimes, and the solving of them, even when I know it doesn't really happen like that at all.

I used to watch this show.. all the time. I never watch it anymore, honestly, I didn't even know it was still on the air. I watch a lot of Law & Order: SVU
