Congrats! I'm just posting while waiting for a few of our many snakes to finish up swallowing their rats down (everyone was monitored while actually hunting/striking....we're at the slurp down your rat stage of the feeding process LOL). I can tell you the happiness never goes away. I still smile when I hear that WHAPPPPP that indicates a good, strong strike just occurred and another snake is going off shortly to it's hide with a belly full of yummy rat.

YAY! That's awesome. I fed mine last night, even though he's got a small case of the mites he went right for it. This time though he grabbed the butt. Eww!!

Ate him backwards too, first time for that. Silly snakes.

Every Thursday late evening is feeding time at our house and tonight we feed 14 balls and 1 boa (the other boa hasn't arrived yet~ waiting on the weather!) All of the rats are thawing near the racks and cages and hoping for happy eaters with slamming strikes!! This will be the first feed for the boa, so anything is possible!!!! It's always fun on feeding day and it's so cool that yours went well.

I feed once every 5 days for young ones, (if they take it) and once every 7 days for everyone else.
